Dr Rajkamal Vishnu is a highly skilled thoracic surgeon with a special focus on minimally invasive thoracic and chest wall deformity surgeries. He completed his cardiovascular and thoracic training at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, an Institute of Eminence recognized by the Government of India. After completing his training, Dr Rajkamal worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, where he gained extensive expertise in the field.
His dedication to learning and advancing his surgical skills led him to be selected for the prestigious Asian Society of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Fellowship, an accomplishment achieved by only one doctor from Asia.
During his fellowship, Dr Rajkamal underwent rigorous training and achieved significant academic success in minimally invasive thoracic surgeries. He also received specialized training from a renowned international surgeon in the treatment of chest-wall defects, including Pectus deformity
